The Plastic Opera

The Plastic Opera is a brand new opera for children and parents by Gísli Jóhann Grétarsson and Árni Kristjánsson. It’s about a father and daughter, Kristinn and Eldey, who spend the day together at home when Eldey has a day off from school. Eldey’s dreams about being able to play with her dad, are shattered when it turns out that Kristinn has to write a report about a dead boring plastic company. Eldey wants to get through to her father but that turns out to be a challenge while he’s under the spell of this plastic monstrosity.

There will be two performances of the Plastic Opera in The Culture House at Hverfisgata on October 21st at 2 pm and 4 pm.
