Berta Dröfn Ómarsdóttir, soprano, graduated with a Master's degree in vocal performance at the Conservatorio Monteverdi in Bolzano, Italy, after earning her from The Reykjavík Academy of Singing and Vocal Arts. She has already had a colorful singing career having performed extensively in Iceland and abroad, including appearances at the Gala Concert in New York’s Carnegie Hall, in the palace of Montepulciano in Tuscany, Italy, and in opera installations with the Bolzano Symphony Orchestra. She regularly performs in Italy, while maintaining an active presence as both soprano and choral conductor here in Iceland.
