Guðmundur began his studies at Söngskóli Reykjavíkur in 2011 where he was taught by Garðar Thor Cortes. In 2015 his Maestro became Kristján Jóhannsson. This year he graduated with a Masters diploma from the Academy of Renato Bruson, Italy. Guðmundur has performed in several concerts here in Iceland and in Italy and sang the role of Schaunard from La bohéme in Rimini, Italy in 2017. Guðmundur is the lead singer and event planner for a yearly christmas concerts held in Flúðir, Iceland.
