Ingunn Lára Kristjánsdóttir is the librettist and director of Kornið, a new chamber opera with music by Birgit Djupedal. Her previous work includes #echochamber, a twitter opera that premiered at Tjarnarbíó in May and toured the UK in August 2018, ending at Tete-a-tete opera festival. She is a member of the writers' association of Iceland and a 2018 recipient of the Martha's Vineyard Creative Writing Institute fellowship. Ingunn has a bachelors degree in American Theatre Arts from Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance and is finishing her master studies in creative writing at the University of Iceland.
