Rúnar Kristinn Rúnarsson studied classical singing under Annika Tonuri in his hometown of Vestmannaeyjar before making the move to England to study Musical Theatre at the reveered Guildford School of Acting, where he received the McGrath scholarship and played the role of Curtis Jackson in the Class of 15‘s graduating show, Sister Act. Shortly after graduation, Rúnar started work as a musical Theatre performer for Aida Cruses and sailed the seas of the world for a few years while residing in London in his downtime. Since returning to Iceland, Rúnar has participated in the musicals We Will Rock You and Spring Awakening, the latter nabbing him a nomination for „outstanding vocals in stage production“ for his portrayal of Moritz Stiefel. Besides being a musical theatre performer, Rúnar has been a musician and multi-style singer for over 15 years and worked as an actor for TV and Commercials.
